3 Wedding Photos Before The Wedding
Lots of couples say that they wish they had spent more time enjoying their wedding. For most, it’s been in the pipeline for such a long time and then the nerves and the duties get the better of people. Most photographers know the typical wedding shots that every couple dreams of: the waiting groom, the walk down the aisle, the rings, the kiss, the confetti shot etc. There are, however, three very important wedding photos that you should get before the ceremony…
Yes to The Dress
The wedding dress, for most brides, is a very important element of the wedding. Most brides know to make the process of looking for, trying on and choosing the wedding dress an event which includes all of the special ladies a bride to be needs. With her mother, mother-in-law, maid of honour and bridesmaids, a bride to be will typically have booked a session at a bridal boutique, with champagne and treats while she tries on dresses for the opinion of her entourage. Why not ask your wedding photographer along for an hour? They will be able to get some photos of you making one of the biggest decisions of the wedding and capture that moment when you finally found the one!
Even if it sounds chaotic and a little personal, inviting your wedding photographer into the dressing room on the morning of your wedding day is always a good idea! With so many bridesmaids and so much going on, you won’t always remember what everybody was feeling or how it was. Lots of couples say they listen to the stories and memories of their friends from the special day and wish they were a part of it. A wedding photographer will be able to capture all of the stages of getting ready for the wedding, from giggles with loved ones, to dressing the bride and bridesmaid, to the well wishes shared and the nerves and excitement of the bride! It’s a lovely photo that you’ll want to look back on!
Ask your photographer to capture the venue before the wedding ceremony. Sometimes we get so lost in the people and the traditions of a wedding that we forget what a wonderful venue it was held at! Ask your photographer to document the entrance, the room of which the ceremony is held in, the quirks of the place that you chose it for and, most importantly, the room before the bride enters. This is something that the bride will not get to experience. There will be excited guests, a beautiful isle and a nervous groom at the end of it. Capture the advice shared between groomsmen and groom, best man and groom. The anticipation of the bride entering is a wonderful moment of the wedding that should not be forgotten by your wedding photographer!
